Health & Family Welfare minister, S. Pangnyu Phom visited the 12th NAP (IR) Battalion at Chingtok, Longleng on Friday.
A press release stated that the minister on his visit inspected the company headquarters and its infrastructure and also spent time interacting with officers and jawans.
He promised to carry forward issues faced by the unit to the concerned department on priority.
He was accompanied by Meren Chenth, vice principal PTS Chümoukedima.
