State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) on collaboration with State Council of Educational Research & Training Nagaland hosted Pariksha Parv 6.0 at Fernbrook School at Wokha on Wednesday.
Pariksha Parv is an endeavor for providing a platform for students, parents and teachers to share their thoughts and get guidance and important tips from the experts.
In a brief address, chairman of SCPCR Alun Hangsing spoke on family environment which immensely contributed to the children’s well-being and emphasised on the importance of providing a safe environment.
SCERT Professor, Dr. Zavise Rume highlighted the Pariksha Parv and stressed on its role in allowing children to demonstrate their abilities to the world through exams.
Dr. Rume pointed out prevalent issues of stress, anxiety, and depression among students, attributing them to the lack of proper training in exam writing.
Member of NSCPCR Akumla Longchari, emphasized on the need to change the perception of exams from stressful events to celebrations.
The programme was chaired by Zavise Rume and administrator of Fernbrook School Wokha Rashamo Tsopoe delivered the welcome speech.
