Pastors undertake peace tour

Pastor’s Union Tuensang town, led by its president, has visited five villages under Tuensang district and convened a prayer fellowship with pastors and members of village council of Yakor, Chendang, Saddle, Kuthur, and Tuensang village for peace and tranquility.
During the visit, pastors from different churches encouraged the leaders and the general public to forgive each other and to maintain brotherhood without any ill feelings among the community. They also exhorted the participants to preserve peace through mutual dialogue without confronting any inconvenient situation.   
Meanwhile, Pastors’ Union held an emergency meeting on January 11 wherein it resolved to hold a special prayer in all the churches in Tuensang town for the concerned tribal leaders, administration, police personnel and to maintain smooth functioning of educational institutions and particularly pray for the students who would be appearing HSLC examination shortly.
