Extending support to Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO)’s demand for “Frontier Nagaland” and Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) September 22 resolution, a “grassroots level sensitisation programme on Frontier Nagaland” was jointly organised by the public organisations, student body, and village council on September 25 at Pathso Nokeng Village, Noklak.
A press release by Pathso Nokeng Students’ Union (PNSU) executive chairman informed that during the meeting, the stakeholders were highlighted with the background of the demand and the decisions made at the KTC and ENPO levels by KTC executive member, Z Khaoshai. Pathso Nokeng Public Organization (PNPO) president, P Sune encouraged the gathering to extend support in due steps of action until the demand was fulfilled.
Meanwhile, the public reaffirmed to extend full support and cooperation to the demand and stand by the ENPO and KTC decisions. The gathering was also briefed on the proposed mass Walkathon on October 7 organized by the Eastern Nagaland Students’ Federation (ENSF).
