Patton adopts Noklak village

In line with Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY), deputy chief minister, Y Patton has adopted Noklak village and declared the same in a function Friday.

A press release from media cell of deputy CM stated that in a short speech, Patton urged the villagers to come together and cooperate with the government agencies to bring all round development of the village. 

He also said that developmental activities would be taken up step-wise for which modalities has been worked out. 

Patton said he adopted a village in a “remote area” so as to take development to the far flung areas and urged upon fellow legislators to follow suit.

Short speeches were delivered by Kusho head GB, local MLA and advisor, prison, printing and stationery, H. Haying, minister H& TE and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along.

The deputy chief minister was accompanied by DGP Nagaland, John Longkumer, chief engineer PWD (R& B), Er. Limanarom DIG(R), SP Tuensang, DC Tuensang, host of public leaders and party workers.
