Deputy chief minister, Y. Patton has mourned the demise of Soyimna Aier Koza, IPS, whose dedicated service and contributions to law enforcement will always be remembered.
In a condolence message, Patton said late Koza joined the force in 1994, and served in various capacities with commitment and integrity. She was inducted into the Indian Police Service in 2020 and was serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police (INT), Nagaland Police, at the time of her passing.
Patton said late Koza career was marked by discipline, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty towards the people she served. A recipient of the Utkrisht Seva Padak (2019), a recognition of her dedication and exemplary service, Patton said late Koza leadership and work ethic left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working with her.
Patton further extended deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues and prayed for the departed soul rest in peace.
