Deputy chief minister and home minister, Y. Patton has congratulated Temsuyangba Ao, UBSI of West police station, under commissioner of Police Dimapur, for being awarded the Union Home Minister’s Medal for excellence in investigation for 2021. In a message, Patton congratulated Temsuyangba for the prestigious award and wished him the very best in his career.
Further, Patton said Nagaland Police department has on many occasions carried out successful investigations in the state and outside the state. He cited a recent case where a person from Punjab – Pakistan border was arrested by Dimapur police for impersonating a well-known sitting legislator on a social media platform.
