The new office building of Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, was officially inaugurated at the Mokokchung village by deputy chief minister, Y. Patton after it was dedicated by Mokokchung village Pastor, Rev. Imtimenpang.
In his inaugural address, Patton thanked the village council of Mokokchung village and the land owners for allotting the site for the new SP office building and further requested the community to allot land for parking space also.
Patton also called upon the public and Civil Society organisations(CSOs) to give full co-operation to the security forces for the smooth maintenance of law and order. Earlier short speeches were delivered by Minister of Rural Development & SIRD, Metsubo Jamir and ADGP (Administration), Renchamo Kikon while the welcome note was said by SP Mokokchung, Manojkumar A.
The function was chaired by Additional SP, Mokokchung, Y Tumchobemo and invocation by PBC Mokokchung pastor, Rev. Temsu. A special song was presented by Imkumnaro and brief technical report was presented by EE, PEP Alichen, Er. Kito Anche.
