
Deputy chief minister Y Patton has extended greetings to the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In a message, Patton expressed gratitude to the teaching community for going the extra mile by imparting quality education to students even during this pandemic through online classes.
He said that the impact of influence a teacher had on students was immeasurable and urged them to be more sincere and dedicated in their duties and not to get discouraged by hardships.
On behalf of the state BJP legislators, the Dy.CM prayed that many unseen blessings would be upon the teachers.
Imna Along: Conveying deep appreciation to all the teachers, minister, higher education & tribal affairs, Temjen Imna Along acknowledged the teachers for selfless services and sacrifices towards the society especially during this pandemic.
“Our teachers have gone the extra mile to adjust to the given situation and has made great efforts to impart quality education through online classes”, Along said.
The minister also said that nothing could replace the role of teachers that has helped in shaping millions of dreams into reality.
NSF: Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has extended warm greetings to all the teachers across Naga inhibited areas on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In a message, NSF through its vice president Atokiho Sumi and secretary education Medovi Rhi appreciated the role of teachers and their responsibility in imparting knowledge and inculcating noble virtues of life in students.
The federation expressed gratitude to the teaching fraternity for showing exemplary resilience during this COVID-19 pandemic.
NSF also acknowledged the efforts and hard work put in by teachers despite the lockdown measures and other technological constrains.
“As the Naga people aspire towards a vibrant Naga society, it is our confidence that our student community are in noble and qualified hands which will usher the younger generation of Nagas into a new era of peace and prosperity”, NSF said.
NPP Nagaland: National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland has wished the intellectual and spiritual guides, the mentors on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In a message NPP president Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema said that although they were not listed as essential workers, they were essential and as a teacher himself, he knew the work that went into teaching under distinctive circumstances.
While stating that teaching during this pandemic was far from typical and was nothing the school systems had done before, Dr. Andrew said that the teachers were doing an amazing job although this was not what they signed up for.
NPP thanked the teachers for being there and standing tall for the kids and paid heartfelt respect to guides and mentors who taught children not just math and science, but how to never back down.
It also encouraged teachers to re-dedicate themselves to the cause of educating students in a spirited manner and help shape them in many aspects including making them ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
