Nagaland’s singer-songwriter Pauloi Phom has signed a global record deal with Good Time Music, a Denmark-based label known for its focus on melodic and album-oriented rock (AOR). His debut solo album is scheduled for release in 2026.
Phom, celebrated for his powerful vocals and stage presence, has been a prominent figure in Northeast India’s independent music scene, having fronted popular bands such as Version2 and Inyiushong.
Calling the record deal a “significant personal milestone,” Phom expressed gratitude for the partnership with Good Time Music.
Aside from his musical achievements, Phom also served as the TaFMA District Partner for Longleng from 2019 to 2023, mentoring young talent under the Government of Nagaland’s music development initiative. In 2025, he made his acting debut in Paatal Lok: Season 2, an Amazon Prime Video original series.
His manager, Chumdemo Yanthan, confirmed that Phom’s band Version2 is also gearing up to release their debut album later this year.
Further updates on Pauloi Phom’s solo debut will be announced in the coming months.
