PBCM hosts couples seminar in Mon

DIMAPUR: Police Baptist Church Mon (PBCM) Women Ministry hosted a three day Couples Seminar from May 22 to 24, drawing over 150 couples from the community in an effort to foster stronger marriages and deeper understanding.
According to a press release from the PBCM media team, resource persons Rev. Dr. Timothy, president of Community Builders Guwahati, and Dr. Konnya Konyak, director of Community Builders Guwahati, shared insights rooted in biblical principles and practical wisdom. The seminar, held under the theme “Strengthening the Bond”, emphasized love, faith and mutual trust within marriage.
Sessions covered topics including “God’s Design for Marriage: Covenant, Not Contract”, “Communication: The Lifeline of Marriage”, “Faithfulness and Trust in a Tempted World”, “Love, Forgiveness and Healing”, “Managing Finances Together” and “Building a Christ Centred Home and Family”. Each session aimed to equip couples with tools to nurture resilient relationships based on biblical values.
The youth department contributed through recreational activities, praise and worship, media presentations and volunteering, adding vibrancy to the programme. As the seminar concluded, participants expressed hope for more such gatherings to inspire couples in building families rooted in faith and respect.
