PCNB Peren celebrates ‘gospel golden jubilee’

Presbyterian Church New Beisumpui, (PCNB) Zeme Presbytery, CHT Synod (PCI) Peren celebrated its gospel golden jubilee on January 17, at the church premises under the theme “The wonder of God’s love”, graced by Rev Deisaung Pame, moderator Zeme Presbytery & pastor i/c Jalukie Pastorate as minister. 

A press release by PCNB stated that, Rev. Deisaung Pame unfurled the jubilee flag and later unveiled and blessed the monolith. Secretary for women’s relation, general assembly of the Presbyterian Church of India (PCI), Shillong, Insamneile Riamme was speaker of the event.

The jubilee souvenir was released by pastor i/c Kubing Pastorate Rev. Keyihungbe and on the closing ceremony the flag was handed over by pastor i/c Kebai Pastorate, Rev. Nzuhingbe Pame to jubilee committee chairman, Ramyibe Riamme.

It may be mentioned that Presbyterian Church New Beisumpui is the first Presbyterian Church in Nagaland which was established on May 9, 1971. Since its establishment, as the mother church, Presbyterian Church New Beisumpui has helped nurture and guide several fellowships/preaching stations to become fledged churches. 

As of now, Zeme Presbyterian Church Nagaland (ZPCN) has 10 churches and one fellowship with total population of 1829 members.
