Minister of Planning & Coordination and Land Revenue, Neiba Kronu asserted that the one-year old Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP)-led People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government was committed to providing a stable government and take the state towards development and progress.
Speaking in a series of PDA election campaign programs in Phek district, Kronu regretted that he was part of the last Naga People’s Front (NPF) government which, he claimed, had failed to bring about any visible development due to internal bickering for power.
“The present PDA partners are firmly under the able leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton”, he asserted.
“We have completed just one year in office and sincerely working hard to pursue development and reach the nook and corner of the State during the coming years,” he added.
Reiterating the stand of the PDA government on the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) 2016, he said that though the Nagas are protected against CAB, the entire North East was protesting its passage and thus the government of Nagaland also extends its solidarity because the CAB will also impact the state.
He added that the PDA government was for an early solution to the Naga political issue.
NDPP working president Nuzota Swuro; BJP Nagaland ex-Servicemen Cell convener, Vekho Swuro; NDPP leaders Kupota Khesoh, Dr. K Hoshi & Kudecho Khamo, ex-MLA Khuosatho; BJP Phek district president, Niicutso Ruho; and NDPP Phek Region president Mosonyi Domeh also addressed the PDA campaign programs.
