Phek District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PDCCI) has terminated the membership of a general store in Phek Town, registered under a local owner (Regn. No. 07), following repeated violations of rules and regulations.
According to PDCCI president, Razoukhruyi Dozo and general secretary, Pio Veswu, the violations were linked to an employee, Pappu Yadav, identified as a habitual offender involved in multiple offences, including the sale of expired products. His conduct was found to be in disregard of PDCCI norms, adversely affecting public safety and tarnishing the image of the Chamber.
The Chamber had earlier proposed a bond agreement requiring the replacement of the employee, but the proprietor refused to comply despite deliberations with officials and senior members.
In view of continued non-compliance, PDCCI announced that the establishment will no longer be recognized as a member of the Chamber, effective immediately. The office also cautioned the public to remain vigilant when dealing with the said establishment and directed subordinate units to refrain from associating with Pappu Yadav in any official or business capacity.
Reiterating its motto “United We Serve,” PDCCI urged all members to strictly adhere to its rules and regulations.
