The Peren District Football League (PDFL) 3.0 continued at the Astro Turf Ground, Jalukie Town on Monday, with two crucial matches that shaped the playoff race.
In the opening match, Kingdom Stewards and Poilwa FC, both sides had the chance to strengthen their playoff claims, but the match was marked by frequent stoppages and lacked rhythm. The breakthrough came in the 41st minute when Poilwa FC’s Rangliakum powered home a header from a long free kick delivered by Zumzum.
Poilwa FC extended their lead in the 70th minute through Sehgoulen, who later earned the Man of the Match award for his commanding performance. The team-maintained control until the final whistle, securing a 2–0 victory that lifted them to third place in the table.
Yellow card was awarded to Nthuilung.
The second encounter saw Nchangram Lun FC’s bid to cement their top spot halted by a resilient Mbaupunngwa FC. The match featured strong tackles and skilful dribbles but lacked clinical finishing.
Mbaupunngwa FC took the lead in the 24th minute when a powerful shot from their winger deflected into the path of Nehtinsem, who calmly slotted home. Nchangram Lun FC responded in the 34th minute, with Poulin heading in a precise cross from Wikedatlu.
Despite both teams pushing for a winner, the game ended 1–1 as neither side wanted to risk costly errors. Wikedatlu was named Man of the Match for his creative play.
Kawililakbou was cautioned with yellow card.
