Phek District Farmers’ Union (PDFU) executive members and unit chairmen held its meeting at its office Pfutsero, Tuesday which was attended by 35 persons and adopted four points resolution.
In a press note PDFU president, Khazi Lea and joint secretary, Ngotso D. Sakhamo stated that the house resolved to pursue the company act registration and co-operative society registration at an early date possible.
It also resolved that members should renew their membership for three years (2016-18) with Rs. 300 as registration fee on or before April 15, failing which the membership would be cancelled.
The house also resolved that new members would be accepted if they have a project not less than an acre with a registration fee of Rs. 500 on or before April 15, to be submitted to village unit chairman.
It further resolved that any Phek District Farmers’ Union member having co-operative society must submit their society name, registration number and the name of chairman to the registrar PDFU, Muthaduyi Dasai 8974323254.
