Apropos “PDR alleges nepotism in Tourism, LMCP deptts”, published on November 5, 2018, the People for Democratic Rights (PDR) has clarified that the daughter of a commissioner and secretary in one of the departments, had cleared NPSC 2017 exam as research assistant under administrative training institute (ATI) and not as published.
PDR through its media and publicity affairs stated that owing to oversight, it had mistakenly mentioned that the daughter of commissioner & secretary cleared NPSC exam as assistant archivist in the department of art & culture. In this regard, PDR has expressed regret for the mistake and apologised to the responsible person who cleared the NPSC exam as assistant archivist in the department of art & culture. PDR has urged the department of Art & Culture and NPSC to also take note of its clarification.
