PDTTU meet adopts 5-point resolution

Peren District Timber Traders Union (PDTTU) held a meeting at its office, Monday Bazaar, Jalukie on August 2 and adopted five-point resolution. 

During the meeting, the house unanimously decided to commence membership drive from August till October last, 2021 after which late fine would be charged as prescribed by the union. The union would man three gates at different locations: Saijang; Punglwa and main office respectively. The union resolved to charge Rs. 3000 for the sticker and decided to buy a vehicle for PDTTU duty. Meanwhile, during the meeting, the union unanimously selected Samhing as union treasurer and Wangko, Puilungbe and Nchalak as auditors. PDTTU further warned that it would be compelled to seize log/timber of any individual or group who is found operating timber without registration within its jurisdiction.
