PDVA hosts first district-level volleyball referee workshop in Jalukie

DIMAPUR, OCT 8 (NPN)

The first District Level Volleyball Referee Workshop 2025, organized by the Peren District Volleyball Association (PDVA), was successfully conducted from October 6 to 8 at Kingdom Holistic, Jalukie Town.
In a press release, PDVA through its media cell informed that the inaugural event was graced by vice-president of the Nagaland Volleyball Association (NVA), Elia Nring, as the special guest, while State Volleyball Referee of Nagaland, Adaube Mpom, led the sessions as the resource person. The workshop aimed to enhance officiating standards and promote volleyball development at the district level.
A total of 21 participants, comprising 6 women and 15 men, actively took part in the training. The programme included theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations and examination sessions, all conducted in accordance with the official rules of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).
Upon successful completion of the workshop, all participants were awarded certificates of qualification, marking a significant step toward strengthening the pool of trained referees in the region.
