A pension adalat was inaugurated by principal secretary to the government of Nagaland, P&AR department, Abhijit Sinha at the office of the Pr. Accountant General (A&E)in presence of principal accountant general, E. Mhonbemo Patton on August 23.
A press release by the department, stated that the adalat took up fresh pension cases as well as revision of pension cases. It said pension cases were taken up for spot prompt and quick settlement within the framework extant rules and provisions.
Representative officers from the P&AR department, Treasury & Accounts department and nodal officers of more than 30 state government departments attended the adalat, informed the release.
