Pensioners urged to render their service

EAC Kiphire, Longtiba Sangtam on Thursday urged upon pensioners of Kiphire district to render their service for the progress of the society, since they have the experiences and handling of office working procedures.
He said this while gracing the 4th general session of Kiphire District Pensioners’ Association (KDPA) at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall Kiphire.
EAC also advised the pensioners to be the guardian of the citizens by showing sincerity to the upcoming generation.
Sharing the word of gratitude, SBI manager, Bhomic said, retirement in service was a blessing from the above for their good works on earth. He further asked them to devote their time again for the welfare of the society.
KDPA president, Prem Bahadur delivered presidential address while KDPA executive member, Setsiba Sangtam delivered welcomes address. 
The programme was chaired by KDPA executive member, Hugha Sumi.
On the occasion a gift was presented to elderly person.
