“Where the light finds us” a collection of short stories written by Vishü Rita Krocha, a Centennial publication of Penthrill was launched on March 14 at Centre of Excellence of Music and Arts(CEMA) Ministers Hill Kohima.
Special guest, Asia Pacific Deputy News director, the associated press and founder of the book “Home” library Kohima Yirmiyan Arthur Yhome emphasized that consistency was essential for achieving dreams, citing Rita as an example of success with her publication of 100 books.
She expressed gratitude to Rita for providing an avenue for others Nagas to publish their work, benefiting society at large. She also highlighted the need for cultural reading in the society.
Author of the book and Founder of PenThrill Publication Vishü Rita Krocha highlighted that all seven stories in this collection were rooted in true events, though some parts were fictionalized. She viewed this book as a reflection of the people’s diverse tales across generations, shedding light on lived and imagined experiences.
She said in celebrating the 100th publication, Pen Thrill honor the diverse voices and stories of the people in literature, offering readers a deeper understanding of Naga life, and illuminating the richness of the culture and traditions—strength, love, and resilience. Poet and writer Agnes Tepa shared her remarked on the book. Youth director, Chakesang Baptist Church Ministers Hill Kohima (CBCMHK) Rakodu Nukhu said dedicatory prayer.
