Peraciezie colony bodies ban liquor

Peraciezie Colony parent body, Peraciezie Mothers’ Union and Peraciezie Youth Organization (PYO), Kohima have resolved to ban production, stock and sale of liquor (both IMFL and local brew) within Peraciezie Colony jurisdiction with effect from February 1. 

A press release from president, PYO, Kevisetso Miachieo, stated that the resolution was passed considering negative effects on overall health of individual, peace, tranquillity and social fabric of the society. It further stated that the resolution complies with NLTP Act and appeals made by various bodies and wishes of colony residents in general.
Further, house owners have also been informed not to indulge or rent out their properties to individual/s dealing in illicit liquor business. 
Individuals dealing in production, stock and sale of alcohol within the colony jurisdiction have also been informed to take serious note of this resolution.
