Zeliangrong Students’ Union (Nagaland), Kuki Students’ Organization (N) and Zeme Youth Organization (N) Thursday threatened to launch third phase of agitation “any time soon” on the ground that the state government failed to fulfill its assurance to set up technical committee for better health facilities in Peren district.
In a press release, ZSU (N) president Dithuibo Newmai and general secretary Adona Herie claimed that the government seemed “to give little less important to the genuine needs of the district.”
Reiterating the demand, ZSU(N) said it had put its early agitation on halt with the hope that government would be sincere to their commitment. However, ZSU(N) cautioned that if the government failed to fulfill its commitment, it would be forced to take up its third phase of agitation and for which the government would be fully held responsible in the event of any untoward incident.
