Development of new Peren district headquarters was deliberated at length during the DPDB meeting on February 6 in the DC’s conference hall.
Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman Peren DPDB, Peter Lichamo, has highlighted various practical steps to be taken up by the officers in the new headquarters and reminded the officers to display official signboard infront of the offices and also prepare outlines measurement for the site allotted for construction of offices and quarters without delay. He also further directed the officers to put up proposal for construction of offices and quarters for which a copy to be endorsed to his office. Plantation in and around DC office complex and offices and roadside was also deliberated to be taken up in the first week of April.
The chairman also cautioned against jungle burning while cleaning up the site for construction in the new headquarter. While discussing on manning of street light in the new headquarters, SDO (Power), Er. Nungsang Jamir, briefed the members about the shortage of manpower to man the street light at present.
District Advisory Committee was announced to the board by the chair to which meeting of the board was also fixed on February 12 at 11 a.m. in the DC’s conference hall.
