Peren Govt College annual sports concludes

Peren Government College held its 35th annual games and sport meet under the theme, “The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory” at Peletkie village football ground in Peren district from March 16 to 18.
According to a press release by the media cell convenor of Peren Government College, the three- day event began with a brief formal program where vice principal of the college Albert exhorted students on the importance of sports . He encouraged them to give their best not only in studies but also in extracurricular activities such as sports and games to excel in life.


Asst. games & sports secretary, PGCSU, Chetrailube Ndang chaired the program, Invocation was pronounced by PGC EU prayer secretary Keyipeiraile, and special melody by Keyipeiraibe,
Other highlights included, lighting of torch by Rangzaibeule of 6th Semester and oath taking by games & sports secretary, PGCSU.
In the group level competition, the overall champion was bagged by ‘Hearts’ Group and in individual level,. Kenzeu and Rangzaibeule of 6th Semester bagged the individual champion position for boys and girls category respectively.
