All department officers and staff will continue to clean their respective offices and quarters, with participation made mandatory at both the district headquarters and sub divisions.
Peren district has adopted the slogan “Green Peren” to encourage local farmers to promote sustainable and surplus production for economic growth while preserving flora and fauna. Ornamental and roadside trees planted under the initiative will be properly maintained.
Under “Green Peren,” town councils, NGOs, CSOs, youth organisations, students’ unions and citizens have been appealed to participate in cleaning their respective areas and ensure proper upkeep of roadside plantations.
