Petrol and diesel prices were increased by 5 paise and 10-11 paise, respectively across major cities of the country on Monday.
Following today’s rate revision, petrol prices in Delhi rose to Rs 75 (5 paise more) a litre as against Rs 74.95 on Sunday while diesel price climbed to Rs 66.04 per litre as compared to Rs 65.94 a litre on Sunday.
As per data from Indian Oil Corporation website, petrol price in Dimapur stood at Rs. 72.91 per litre while diesel was retailing at Rs. 63.89.
In the state capital, a litre of petrol and diesel was Rs.73.72 and Rs. 64.53 respectively.
The domestic fuel prices are determined broadly by the global crude oil and the rupee-dollar foreign exchange rates.
