
Petrol and diesel prices were once again raised by 13-14 paise per litre and 18-20 paise, respectively for the third consecutive day across all major cities.
The price of petrol in Dimapur cost Rs. 72.79 per litre, an increase by 13 paise and diesel Rs. 65.37 per litre, an increase by 18 paise.
In the state capital Kohima, petrol price was increased by 13 paise, costing Rs. 73.60 per litre and diesel by 18 paise costing Rs. 66 a litre.
Currently, domestic petrol and diesel prices are reviewed by oil marketing companies on a daily basis.
Any revisions are implemented at the fuel stations with effect from 6 a.m.
