PFST asks bonafide members to return to Shamator town

Public Forum Shamator Town (PFST) has once again reiterated its appeal (resolution) to all bonafide members, who have left Shamator Town to return at the earliest.
In press release, PFST president Y. Tokiu and general secretary K. Akiuba said that the November 7, 2015 resolution was adopted in the interest of the public, peace and tranquility and with the intention to safeguard individual’s rights and properties in Shamator town.
Unfortunately, despite publicly announcing the resolution, PFST said 20 households vacated the town following the advisory of the Tikhir Tribal Council.
In this regard, PFST had requested all who have vacated the town through the media (published on 13/1/ 2016) to return and resettle within 7 days. But till date not a single individual / household adhered to the request, the forum said.
With the expiry of the dateline, PFST said it was constrained to make known that any individuals/ households who have ignored the resolution would not be allowed to return and resettle in Shamator town without the prior consent/approval of PFST.
In the event if any individual resettle without the knowledge of PST and face any unfortunate incident, it said that the forum would not be held responsible.
PFST further said that it condemned various statements that were made to confuse the people.
