Pfutsero Police arrests one

Pfutsero Police station party conducted vehicle checking below Pfutsero town where they intercepted one Maruti alto vehicle coming towards the town on October 30 at around 7.30 p.m. 

A press release by Pfutsero Police stated that, the police arrested one Lhuveku Venyo in this connection along with seized contraband. 

The release stated that, on seeing the police, the driver tried to flee but was arrested near Lekromi village along with 20 packets of ganja weighing 10 kilos each, concealed inside the vehicle after a hot pursuit. 

Police informed that the person was identified as Lhuveku Venyo of Thevopisu village residing at Seed Farm, Pfutsero town. 

According to police source, his accomplice is still absconding.  He has been booked under NDPS Act under Pfutsero Police Station, police stated.
