Pfutsero Government College (PGC) was declared a “Litter Free Campus” on Friday at a “Pledge and signature campaign” program organised by the college in collaboration with Pfutsero administration with an aim to declare Pfutsero a “Litter Free Town”.
A press release by PGC stated that in the program, ADC Pfutsero, Zeneikhonuo Vimero, appreciated the college for taking the initiative and on being declared a “Litter Free Campus”.
She called upon the students, faculty and members present to take a pledge to make Pfutsero a “Litter Free Town.” The ADC also highlighted the importance of waste segregation.
EAC Pfutsero and nodal officer Swachh Bharat Mission Pfutsero sub-division, Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao, gave an introduction to Swachh Survekshan 2019 and also introduced the Swachhata App.
The program, chaired by PGC assistant professor, Megono Chucha, ended with a vote of thanks by PGC vice president, T.L Singsit.
