PGC demands urgent restoration of power supply

Phek Government College (PGC) has extended its support to the demand of the residents of Bible Hill Colony, Phek town for power outage since May 2, 2017.
A press note by PGC vice principal, Besengulie Venuh stated that the transformer has been damaged by the department personnel themselves and that the residents were thoroughly upset at their unprofessional action.
In addition the absence of the Electrical Engineer and SDO from station for several weeks has denied citizens to redress their grievances, stated the release.
It also mentioned that PGC had been unable to transact official matters due to lack of electricity, especially at a crucial time when examination process was going on and results are to be declared.
It also informed that absence of power supply has completely blocked online activities concerning all official matters.
In this regard, PGC has requested the department concerned to immediately look into the matter and restore power supply at the earliest.
