Phamji Club Yongnyah celebrates silver jubilee

Phamji Club, Yongnyah under Longleng district celebrated its silver jubilee on December 30, 2015 under the theme “Always Ahead” with parliamentary secretary, Land Resources Development & Excise, B.S.Nganlang as the chief guest.
A press release by Phamji Club president, P.Bonglei stated that B.S.Nganlang, while addressing the crowd asked them to recall those founding members of the Phamji Club who had the vision to take the Phamji Club on to greater heights.
He said that they would be remembered with much respect and honour,while reminding the present and existing members of the club to keep up the same zeal, spirit of hard work and face the future with positive mindset in this fast developing global-digital era. B.S.Nganlang also released the souvenir and donated Rs.80,000 towards Phamji Club fund.
Executive secretary NCRC (Phom) sub-council, Rev.D.Vangpong, delivered the gospel message as part of the jubilee celebration while original song compositions lauding the Phamji Club’s contributions in social area of the village, as well as in games and sports were presented during the jubilee.
