Under the directive of NCORD, the second joint verification drive on pharmacies was conducted at Kiphire town on August 29. The joint verification team was led by personnel from administration, police and representatives from chief medical officer’s office to verify the installation of CCTV in pharmacies, salesman qualification, expired drugs and maintenance of schedule H, schedule H1, schedule X and restricted drug list.
During the inspection, CCTVs were found installed in all the pharmacies, except for two pharmacies due to technical problem. The pharmacies also ensured maintenance of required registers on the spot.
