PHED conducts trg for officers

Upholding the responsibility to ensure all persons in the State have access to a sustainable drinking water that is adequate in quantity and safe to drink according to the quality standards of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) conducted training on Hydro Geo-Morphological (HGM) maps Under Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission Project in the Chief Engineer’s Office, Kohima, on February 21. The training was organized by PHED and Science & Technology Department. 
All the PHED SEs, Executive Engineers and officials from all the eleven districts of Nagaland attended the training to get knowledge on HGM maps and how to use the maps in the field for planning and designing their rural water supply schemes.
