PHED conducts trg for WATSAN committees

PHED, Rural Division conducted a training programme on Field Testing Kit (FTKS) on February 20 in the office premises. The training was attended by WATSAN Committee members from 24 villages from across the rural areas of Dimapur district. Training started with a welcome speech by Er. L Tongpang Longkumer, EE, who highlighted the aims and objective of the training. The training covered various parameters such as turbidity, hardness of iron etc. to monitor water quality.
The demonstration was conducted by Roland Kikon, Chemist, and also distributed field testing kit to all who attended the programme.  Er. Imtisowa, SDO, and Er. Repkuyuba, SDO, also highlighted the roles and activities of WATSAN Committee. Vikashe, Cashier, also trained all WATSAN members on handling of cash book. All officers and staff of the rural division attended the training programme.
