PHED conducts water testing training at Tening schools

DIMAPUR:

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) conducted a water testing training programme at Government High School and Government Higher Secondary School, Tening, on April 8 under the DPDB Peren adoption initiative.
According to a DIRP report, the programme sought to create awareness among students and staff on the importance of safe drinking water while imparting practical knowledge on basic water testing methods.
PHED officials demonstrated simple testing techniques and underscored the significance of maintaining water quality for health and hygiene.
The training formed part of ongoing DPDB adoption activities, focusing on capacity building and promoting community awareness on essential public health practices.
