Water & Sanitation Support Organisation (WSSO) Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) organized a state-level refresher training for state and district level master trainers on August 29 in Kohima, focusing on the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) for 2024-2025.
A press release by WSSO, PHED, State IEC Consultant, Thepfulie informed that the training was officially launched by PHED, Mission Director SBMG, Er. Gwatilo Tep, followed by a presentation on the “Overview of Jal Jeevan Mission” by Executive Engineer, technical PHED, Er. Yanger Pongen.
Topics such as grey water management, plastic waste management, faecal sludge management, features of SBM (G) 2.0 guidelines, etc. were covered by District Coordinator & IEC Consultant, Ashale, Hydrogeologist, Dr. Chonchibeni Ezung, SDO PHED, Er.
