PHED Nagaland informs on awareness week

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Nagaland has informed that as part of government of India’s launching of “National Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Awareness Week”, the department would also formally launch the week long awareness campaign across the State on March 16 with secretary PHED Anenla S. Longchari as the chief guest at PHED Conference Hall, Kohima.
The department informed that the launching of nationwide awareness programme will be held at Haryana and the closing ceremony at Kohima on March 22 with Union Minister, ministry of drinking water & sanitation, government of India Birender Singh as the chief guest. Union Minister of State (MDWS) Ram Kripal Yadav, secretary and joint secretaries of the ministry of drinking water and sanitation, government of India will be attending the function.
