PHED officials inspect JJM schemes in Peren

DIMAPUR: Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) officials led by principal secretary of the department, Mhonbemo Patton inspected the water treatment plant site at Samziuram village and JJM schemes at Punglwa and neighbouring villages under Peren district on March 3.
During the visit to ongoing construction works for water supply to Samziuram village at the treatment plant site as well as the water tanks in the village area, the officials held a brief meeting at the Village Council Hall Samziuram village.
In the meeting, the principal secretary expressed satisfaction on the work progress and assured all possible help by the department for early completion of the project.
Mhonbemo also inspected the completed and on-going JJM schemes at Punglwa and other neighbouring villages under Peren division. He was accompanied by Chief Engineer & HoD, PHED Superintendent Engineer (P&T) and Peren divisional officers.
