PHED organises ‘Gandaki Mukt Bharat’

PHED (rural) division, Dimapur has been carrying out various Swachhata activities in villages across Dimapur, as part of the ongoing “Gandagi Mukt Bharat” from August 8 to 15, a weeklong campaign for Swachhata in the run up to Independence Day. 

A press release by PHED (rural) division, Dimapur, stated that tree plantation drive was carried out across Dimapur villages along with the rest of the country on August 12. 

Hundreds of tree saplings were distributed to the volunteers during the plantation drive. Cleanliness drives, wall paintings, plastic waste collection and segregation were also carried out.
