Water quality monitoring and surveillance training was conducted at the office of the EE, PHED (Rural) division Dimapur on July 14. A press release issued by the department stated that EE. PHED (R) division, Er. L. Tongpang delivered the keynote address on, “water quality monitoring and surveillance” wherein he sensitized the community leaders present to disseminate the awareness to the people. The programme was chaired by SDO PHED (R) division Niuland, Er. Repkayuba and invocation prayer was offered by H.A PHED (R) division, Dimapur Khamlong. To further facilitate hands-on experience to the community leaders, field testing kits (FTKs) were distributed at the programme while practical demonstration was presented by chemist Roland.
