Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) secretary, Kesonyu Yhome on October 1 visited the ongoing construction works for water supply to Samziuram village and the Plastic Waste Management Building at Jalukie Town.
A press release by the department stated that during the visit Samziuram village, Yhome also inspected the water tanks in the village area and took stock of various grievances in a brief meeting held at the Village Council Hall Samziuram Village, Peren.
At the meeting, Yhome expressed satisfaction over the work progress and assured all possible help by the department for early completion of the project.
He also inspected the plastic waste management building at Jalukie Town which was constructed under SBM(G) 2020-21 by PHED Peren Division. The secretary was accompanied by additional secretary, chief engineer sanitation and WSSO, superintendent engineer Dimapur Circle and divisional officers.
