Commemorating the 75th anniversary of Independence, public health engineering department (PHED) Tuensang division kicked off “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” on July 5.
A press release by the division informed that as part of the celebration the division carried out plantation and cleanliness drive in the surrounding areas of the main drinking water sources of ‘’Moyangse’’ in Tuensang and “Oungan” at Noklak town.
The release informed that PHED Tuensang division SDO Lipoksangla and JE Jongshi led the tree plantation and cleanliness drive under Tuensang town and under Noklak town the programme was led by JE Khaoshai Lam.
