Phek Area Public Organisation (PAPO) resolves boundary dispute

DIMAPUR: Phek Area Public Organisation (PAPO) on Friday informed that it has settled boundary dispute between Khuzami and Mutsale villages.
In a press release, PAPO president Vezhehu Vero and joint secretary Rakhusu Veswu stated that the “century long (1933-2022) conflicts” which dragged the villages into frequent confrontation “drained away resources of both the villages over the years besides victimising a dozen youth till recently.”
PAPO said that the organisation took up the dispute with the support of Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA, DC Phek Razouvolie Dozo, SP Phek Vesupra Kezo, WC NNPGs coordinator Alezo Venuh, Zhopra Vero, Kedalo NNC/FGN. It said they assisted PAPO through the trials in resolving the conflicts. The organisation stated that the success of resolving the disputed demarcation was also because of the cooperation from the two villages supported by village council Chepoketa, Ketsapo, PAPO youth front president for timely deployment of their volunteers on the ground.
