Phek Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori has announced traffic restrictions on the Kohima-Jessami Road due to ongoing hill excavation work between Losatephe and Lanezho villages. Vehicular movement will be strictly prohibited from 7 am to 7 pm for 20 days, starting from June 1 to June 23, 2025.
During this period, travelers have been advised to use the alternate route via Pfutsero, Sakraba, Khomi, Phek, and Lanezho. The construction company, KS-PIRPL (JV), has been instructed to complete all excavation work within this timeframe, as no further extensions for traffic restrictions will be granted.
