Phek DPDB holds monthly meeting

Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) held its monthly meeting in the conference hall on Monday.
According to a DIPR report, deputy commissioner (DC) and Phek DPDB vice chairman, Razouvolie Dozo, who chaired the meeting welcomed the members.
The house reviewed the last DPDB meeting minutes and discussed agendas for the registration of a multipurpose society with regard to Laruri Village Women Society under Meluri sub-division and Sakraba Village Multipurpose Society under Pfütsero sub-division.
The members deliberated and agreed on recommendations to the government for approval. With regard to the society registration, DC informed the house that no recommendation for society registration would be made unless it was properly authenticated and verified.
At the meeting, a PowerPoint presentation was given by district sports officer Phek Wutsutho where various sports activities that were being undertaken in the state by the department of Youth Resources & Sports were highlighted.
Later, the chairman entrusted the department of Housing with PowerPoint presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
