Phek DPDB monthly meeting discusses various issues

Monthly meeting of Phek district planning and development board (DPDB) for the month of January 2015 was held in the DPDB conference hall Phek January 12under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner and DPDB Phek vice chairman Murohu Chotso.
According to a DIPR report, the meeting had a discussion on the name list of selected villages on the basis of crops production e.g Zapami Garlic village, Thipuzu Kiwi Fruit village and Agekho Maize village brought up by district agriculture officer and district horticulture officer, Phek.
In connection with this, the house decided that the finalisation would be taken by the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) family departments after reviewing the matter thoroughly.
The house also asked SDEO Phek to furnish the actual shortage of teachers in the district which will be discussed in the next DPDB meeting. DC informed about the benefit of Prime Minister Jandhan Yojana Scheme, which needed to have bank account or Aadhar card base on subsidy such as SSP, LPG and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act (MGNREGA )which can be directly received in the account basis for receiving government subsidy. He also informed the Aadhar card member to be updated in both the account and government department. DC thanked the district officers for extending their cooperation during the verification and identification of the casual work charged employees.
DSO Phek, Zachivelu K. Dolie gave a power point presentation on its departmental activities.
The meeting entrusted ITI Principal Phek and LRSO Phek to give powerpoint presentation in the next district planning and development board (DPDB) meeting.
Public leaders Vechita and Remyi who attended the meeting also encouraged the district officers, saying they would continue to extend cooperation and protect the officers whenever problem may arises. They further requested the officers to be in their posting place regularly. Earlier, DC welcomed the new members and reviewed the last DPDB meeting minutes.
