One-day orientation programme for under graduates of BA/B.Sc 1st semester along with their parents was organized by Phek Government College (PGC) on June 27, initiated under the career and counselling and parent-teacher alumni.
A press note from PGC media cell stated that PGC principal, L. Mefutiba, encouraged the students to feel fortunate to be admitted into the college and to take advantage of highly qualified and talented teachers.
He also requested students to be proactive in co-curricular activities to make their stay in the college comfortable.
Mefutiba also congratulated the new students for their success and welcomed the parents.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by assistant professor of Education, Shekhohu Chizo and vote of thanks delivered by assistant professor of English, Nuthisa Rhakho.
